Thank you for using the nfant® Thrive Feeding System. This includes the nfant Thrive Breast, nfant Thrive Bottle, and the nfant Thrive Tracker App.

Before continuing, we ask you to read and consider this brief informed consent. By agreeing, you give us permission to use the de-identified data collected through your app and product use for research and product improvement purposes.

Why We Collect This Data

We use your data to better understand:
– Infant feeding patterns (both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding)
– Caregiver experiences and challenges
– How our technology can improve early-life nutrition and development
– Patterns across diverse populations to inform future solutions and publications

This work may support peer-reviewed research, product development, and clinical partnerships.

What We Collect

If you consent, we may use the following information:
– Sensor data from the nfant Thrive Bottle and Breast (e.g., bioimpedance patterns)
– Feeding records: volumes, durations, time stamps, feeding method
– App interactions and optional caregiver input (e.g., notes, ratings, surveys)
– Non-identifying metadata: baby’s age, feeding frequency, device type, etc.

We do not collect your name, infant name, or GPS location (we collect, but do not share nicknames). All data used for research is de-identified.

Your Privacy

– Data is encrypted and stored securely
– No identifying information is shared with researchers or third parties
– Participation does not affect your ability to use the app or products

Voluntary Participation

– Your participation is entirely optional
– You may withdraw at any time by contacting [email protected]
– Previously collected data may still be used in de-identified form for ongoing research

Other Details

– Your data may be used to support new health products or publications
– You will not receive direct compensation or share in any commercial benefits
– You may be contacted (with your permission) for future surveys or research studies

Consent

When consenting, you agree to the following:
– I am 18 or older and consent to the use of my and my infant’s de-identified data for research by nfant Labs
– I agree to be contacted about future studies or surveys related to infant feeding

You may use the app without consenting. To skip consent, leave the checkbox blank.
