Tommy Cunningham, PhD.

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Cunningham’s career goal is to develop and commercialize evidence based medical technologies that will provide patients access to the best possible care without prohibitive costs. Experiences and formal training include both private sector and academic settings in mechanical engineering, biomechanics, medical device design, clinical testing and IP development. He holds a Ph.D. and MS in Biomechanics from the University of Kentucky as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He has presented his works at local, national and international conferences and has been awarded 10 U.S. Patents in various technologies to measure and rehabilitate the musculoskeletal system.

Gilson Capilouto, PhD.

Co-Founder & Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Capilouto is a tenured professor at the University of Kentucky and has over 30 years of experience in clinical practice and research with the last 15 focused in the NICU. She also has 20 years of experience as an owner operator of a speech pathology private practice. Dr. Capilouto has published and presented extensively with over 50 peer reviewed publications and 40 national and international presentations. In 2012 she was elected Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in recognition of outstanding contribution to the field of speech-language pathology. Dr. Capilouto leads a clinical research team to further study protocols and potential uses for NFANT in clinical practice.
